As a mother of 2, I have bought a lot of different baby lotions to try, which include that by Honest, Burt's Bee's, Aveeno, Puracy, BareBaby Organics, and Little Twig. The downside to a lot of them is that they aren't offered in "unscented" versions. The only ones labeled as such were BareBaby Organics and Baja Baby. With BareBaby, even their "unscented" had a crisp floral note to it. When I cuddle with my babies, I want to smell their natural baby smell, not the smell of some flower or essential oil that overpowers what mother nature intended them to smell like. When I had my newborn, I searched through Amazon with the words "baby + organic + unscented + lotion" and found this. I was apprehensive at first, especially since the labeling says to test on a small area first for rashes, and the labeling on the bottle also didn't look very professional to me.
Thankfully, my baby's skin tolerated this formula quite well. I've used it all over her body, including her face, since she came home from the hospital, and it's been great at keeping her skin soft and moisturized. It spreads well, is thick yet not greasy, and absorbs quickly. The downside is that I have to re-apply it 3 to 4 times a day to keep a consistent moisture barrier on her skin, so it gets pretty expensive, especially considering the fact that the bottle is only 8 oz.
